Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data is processed by Une Histoire de Pixel when using this site, for what purposes it is used, to whom it may be disclosed, and what your rights are.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for the personal data collected by this site is:

Khatchoukaev Danil
Operator of Une Histoire de Pixel
Moutier (JU), Switzerland
Email: hello@unehistoiredepixel.ch

Any question regarding the processing of personal data may be addressed to this email address.

2. Data collected

When the contact form is used, the following information may be collected: first and last name; email address; phone or WhatsApp number, when provided; wedding date; wedding location; desired service; package considered, when provided; how the person heard about Une Histoire de Pixel; the content of the message; technical information necessary for transmitting and protecting the form against abuse.

When the site is visited, the hosting provider may also process certain technical data, such as the IP address, the date and time of the connection, the page visited, the browser type and information relating to the device used.

3. Purpose of the processing

The information submitted is used solely to: respond to the request; discuss the wedding; check availability; understand the client's needs; prepare a possible service proposal; follow up on exchanges; prevent abuse and ensure the security of the site.

The data is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties for independent commercial prospecting purposes.

This site is a showcase and portfolio site allowing visitors to get in touch: it does not allow purchasing a service, paying online, definitively booking a service, or automatically concluding a contract.

4. Legal basis and applicable law

This processing is primarily subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The information is processed in order to respond to the data subject's voluntary request and to prepare a possible service proposal.

Where European data protection legislation (GDPR) applies, the processing may, depending on the situation, be based on pre-contractual measures requested by the person, on the performance of a possible contract concluded later outside the site, or on the legitimate interest of Une Histoire de Pixel in responding to requests and protecting its site.

5. Recipients of the data

The information may be accessed only by: Khatchoukaev Danil; authorised persons involved in processing the request or preparing the service, when necessary; FormSubmit, used to transmit the form; Microsoft, through Outlook or Microsoft 365, to receive and store the exchanges; Netlify, for the technical data necessary for hosting and security; technical providers strictly necessary for the maintenance or security of the site.

6. Form submission

The contact form on this site uses FormSubmit to deliver the message by email to Une Histoire de Pixel. The exchanges are then received and stored in the professional mailbox used with Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365.

It is recommended not to submit unnecessary sensitive information in the free-text field of the form.

7. Retention period

Requests that do not lead to a service being booked are kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last exchange, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless a specific justified need requires otherwise.

When a contractual relationship is subsequently established, the necessary information is kept for the duration of that relationship. Contracts, invoices, accounting records and information necessary to defend legal rights may be kept in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

Deletion may be requested at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

8. External services

This site relies only on the following services, each of which may be subject to its own privacy policy: FormSubmit, Netlify, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365, Google Fonts, YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp.

FormSubmit receives the data when the form is submitted. Netlify processes the technical data related to hosting. Microsoft processes the exchanges received by email. Google Fonts and the YouTube thumbnails may receive certain technical information when the page loads. Some videos can be watched directly on the site through an embedded YouTube player (via youtube-nocookie.com), which only loads after a deliberate action by the visitor. Instagram and WhatsApp normally receive information when the visitor clicks their links.

This site does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any advertising cookies.

9. Processing abroad

Some providers may process data in Switzerland, in the European Union or the European Economic Area, in the United States, or in other countries where their infrastructure or subcontractors are located.

Where required, such processing must rely on safeguards recognised by the applicable law.

10. Technical logs

Netlify may keep logs necessary for the operation, diagnostics and security of the site. Une Histoire de Pixel does not use them to build a personal advertising profile.

11. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect the information submitted. No absolute security can, however, be guaranteed.

12. Your rights

Within the limits provided by applicable law, you notably have: the right to know whether data concerning you is being processed; the right of access; the right of correction; the right of deletion; the right to restrict certain processing; the right to object to certain processing; and the right to receive or have certain data transmitted where the legal conditions are met.

These rights may be exercised at the following address: hello@unehistoiredepixel.ch. A reasonable verification of your identity may be requested.

You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where European legislation applies, the competent authority.

13. External links

This site contains links to external platforms (YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp). These platforms apply their own privacy policies once their pages are opened.

14. Changes

This policy may be updated as the site, its providers, or legal requirements evolve.
